We are a yoga studio for your entire journey. Yoga is our life – but we also understand that yoga needs to fit inside your life not live outside it. You don’t have to young, flexible or fit. But you can be!.... It doesn’t matter to us and it doesn't matter to yoga. Our teaching method makes yoga accessible to ANYONE regardless of your situation, age, or level of fitness.
At Yogaville we work with a method of practice that builds a progressive understanding and a culture of responsibility in our students. We teach you HOW to practice so that you can eventually develop your own yoga practice and feel confident in your own ability.
We support the health & wellbeing of our local community through various avenues including enabling yoga to be accessible for those who are financially disadvantaged. Our studio also has a carbon neutral footprint.
We provide classes 7 days a week from absolute beginners through to advanced levels.
At Yogaville, we teach exclusively in the Iyengar yoga method. It is suitable for anyone regardless of fitness or flexibility. It’s a style of yoga that pays great attention to energetic support and alignment. You know sometimes you just feel a bit ‘out of whack’? Iyengar yoga works to align us physically, mentally and emotionally. Our teachers in this lineage have literally gone through years and years of training before becoming certified. It is an extremely rigorous process and because of this, we have a very high level of expertise and it allows us to work with individuals within a class setting. We are well equipped as teachers to work with various injuries and physical conditions.
At Yogaville we aren’t so interested in providing a space where students drop in and out. Yoga asks for qualities such as commitment and focus, discipline and continuity. This is where Yoga, really is much more like an eastern discipline than merely a form of ‘exercise’ – and this is what allows the process of transformation to occur.
